Tacos

Ready in 20 minutes | Serves 4 people
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
1/3 cup chopped Onion
1 lb, Ground Pork or Beef
2 1/2 teaspoons of home made Taco Seasonings (see below)
juice of 1/2 Lime
Corn Tortillas, Lettuce, Sour Creme, Grated Cheese, Lime Wedges, Hot Peppers, Salsa
Preparation
Heat olive oil on medium heat and add onion, cook until soft.
Add ground pork or beef and cook through while breaking up the meat. Drain off the fat once cooked.
Season with home made taco seasonings.
Stir in lime juice and serve warm with fixings of choice.
Let simmer.
Taco Seasonings
This is a healthy substitute for store bought packaged taco seasonings that are filled with high amounts of sodium and preservatives. You can make this in bulk in advance! Combine all ingredients and store in airtight container.
1 tablespoon chilli powder
1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
Use 2 1/2 teaspoons of taco seasoning per 1 pound of meat
